Molecular biology and environnemental microbiology : Microbial biotransformations and environmental applications - conferences (EC1)

Présentation

Students will gain knowledge on environmental applications of microbial metabolism. It will be addressed by some examples of biodegradation and biotransformation of organic and metallic compounds, the application of the microbial metabolic capacities as an environmental tool, and bio-depollution and / or bioremediation tools.

Objectifs

Learning outcomes: Identify and list applications of the metabolic capacities of microorganisms as an environmental tool. Investigate the environmental disturbance. Evaluate the microbial metabolic capacities involved in the restoration of the environment.

Synthesize contents addressed in conferences supported by a bibliographic research. Critique the applications of the metabolic capacities of microorganisms as an environmental tool. Draw conclusions.
