Numerical modeling for aquatic environments

Présentation

Course description: 

 This course aims at providing the participants with a overall knowledge of numerical modeling strategies of free surface flows involving sediment and/or tracers transport.

 Course structure:

 - Introduction

- Reminder of the basic equations for hydrodynamics and transport (NS, SWE, advection/diffusion)

- Presentation of the solving techniques

- Numerical issues (parallelism)

- Series of test cases
