Enrollment Fees

The total cost of studies includes a student and campus life contribution (CVEC) and registration fees (tuition).

There are several different cases according to the applicant’s nationality and type of enrollment:

  1. Tuition includes student and campus life contribution (CVEC) and registration fees.

    National registration fees (subject to modification of the ministerial order of April 19, 2019 on tuition fees):

    • € 178 for a year in an undergraduate degree program (licence, BUT);
    • € 254 for a year in a master's degree program;
    • € 628 for a year in an engineering program at a Ministry-approved institution;€
    • € 397 for a year of doctoral studies.

    *Are eligible for initial training: applicants who have never interrupted their studies since high school or who can prove that they were enrolled in initial training the one or both of the two years preceeding enrollment at the UPPA (unless their status, training or funding gives them the status of "continuing education trainee").

  2. Under an apprenticeship contract

    The cost of studies is covered by the employer with whom the apprenticeship contract is signed.

    Apprentices are exempt from tuition fees

    They are still required to pay the student and campus life contribution (CVEC).

    Under a professionalization contract

    The cost of studies is paid by the employer with whom the professionalization contract is signed.

     Students on a professionalization contract are exempt from paying the CVEC.

  3. If you are a continuing education trainee or returning to studies after a break of two or more years, the cost of studies includes national registration fees (see #1 above) and specific enrollment fees.

    Tuition varies depending on the course (level, hourly volume).

    Please contact the FTLV (Continuing Education and Apprenticeship) Department to obtain the cost of enrollment and what payment options may be available, and to prepare the documents required for the contract.

    Additional information

     Continuing education trainees are exempt from paying the CVEC.

  4. Initial training*

    Rates applicable to academic year 2025-2026:

    • € 2,895 for first-time enrollment in an undergraduate degree  (licence, BUT, 1st or 2nd year of a 5-year engineering degree)
    • € 254 per year for a master's degree
    • € 628 per year for the 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of a 5-year engineering degree (partial exoneration)
    • € 3,941 for one year of a GREEN research school master's degree

    * Are eligible for initial training: applicants who have never interrupted their studies since high school or who can prove that they were enrolled in initial training the one or both of the two years preceeding enrollment at the UPPA (unless their status, training or funding gives them the status of "continuing education trainee").

    Continuing education

    Rates applicable to academic year 2025-2026:

    • € 2,895 or more per year for one year of an undergraduate degree (depending on the cost of of the course)
    • € 3,941 or more per year for one year of a master's degree (depending on the cost of the course)
