Program
In a nutshell
University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour (UPPA) is a multidisciplinary university that has undergone a major reorganisation and transformation, through its national I-SITE “Solutions for Energy and the Environment” label of excellence. Its strategy, in line with the France 2030 investment plan, aims to meet the challenges of the future, in particular, the transition towards ecological sustainability.
Led by our world-class professors, our Go Green Summer School will offer an overview of 3 major social issues:
- Digital responsibility: Green IT
- Renewable energies
- Circular economy
These themes will be covered through project-based learning, case studies and lectures in the classroom and visits to local companies in our region. By the end of this bootcamp, you will have acquired a global approach to responsible digital practices, the main sources of renewable energy and how to put them into practice. The discovery of the southwestern region will be the guiding line throughout this bootcamp. Most of the program will be led on the Pau Campus with highlights in the Pyrénées mountains and the Basque coast. You’ll be constantly immersed in an intercultural environment and get to know new cultures.
