This BIP builds on years of teaching focused on translating travelogues about the Pyrenees, particularly Cauterets. Students will translate these texts, visit the site, and compare historical accounts with its current environment. This iconic location, tied to thermalism, mountaineering, and tourism, has inspired numerous writings and engravings. Additionally, students will reflect on contemporary issues and express themselves through artistic means (photography, video, writing, etc.). Creative workshops led by professors will support them in developing their vision.
