PROGRAMME
In a nutshell :
The goal of this summer school is to invite the best scientific experts in Green IT of the moment to share the state of knowledge and practice with those who will build the sustainable digital world of tomorrow.
The school invites various speakers (lecturers, professors, researchers and professionals), recognized in the field of sustainable computing, Green IT, energy (hardware and software) and data centers and the cloud. These experts come from French and European institutes, associations and companies.

REGISTRATION
Selection criteria
Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent discipline minimum, Master highly recommended.
Fees :
€150 for Master students
€300 for PhD students
€500 for researchers, postdocs and professors/lecturers
€2,000 for professionals
€800 per thematic day (for professionals)
The fee includes lectures, lunch and the social event. Accommodation and evening meals are at the own expense of the participants.
The thematic day fee includes the lectures and lunch of the chosen thematic day, and the social event.
Payment : If your application is successful, payment of the registration fee will be made via a Paybox link which will be sent to you later.
Cancellation policy
In case of early cancellation, the registration fees can be refunded according to the following terms :
100% refund granted for any request sent more than 60 days before the start of the thematic school
50% refund granted for any request sent between the 59th and the 16th day before the start of the thematic school,
no refunds granted less than 15 days before the start of the thematic school.

How to get there ?
The region is served by several airports and train stations. It is possible to combine planes, trains and/or buses to get to the Pau campus.

Bus :
Long distance buses can be a transportation solution. The "Pau University" stop served by the companies Blablabus, Flixbus and Eurolines, is located not far from the north entrance of the Pau Campus (across Quick burger restaurant).
As public transport is less frequent in the evenings and at weekends, it is advisable to plan your arrival. All airports and train stations offer cab services.
Housing :
Pau offers a wide range of hotels in the city centre and around the university.
