Program
In a nutshell
The fourth edition of the MUGARTEKO cross-border summer courses will take place from June 30 to July 4, 2025 at Cité des Arts in Bayonne.
These courses are the fruit of meetings organized since 2019 between universities and research centers in the Euroregion: Université de Bordeaux (UB), Université du Pays Basque (UPV/EHU), UPV/EHU Summer Courses, Université Bordeaux Montaigne (UBM), Université de Pau et des Pays de L'Adour (UPPA), the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), Euskampus Fundazioa and CNRS/IKER, and with the support of the local authorities, the Diputación Foral de Guipúzcoa, the New Aquitaine-Euskadi-Navarre Euroregion and the Basque Country Community, Maison des Sciences de l'Homme de Bordeaux (MSH) BX).
These “MUGARTEKO Cross-Border Summer Courses” are aimed at cross-border citizens, and seek to highlight the proactive role of universities in creating a more cohesive Euroregional area in economic, social and territorial terms.
The courses will be given in the three official languages of the Euroregion (Basque, French and Spanish), to demonstrate once again the value of multilingualism and interculturality. They will be held face-to-face, but part of the program can also be followed live online.
They will include cultural and open activities linked to the region. Registration is free, but compulsory.
