Objectives

At the end of this course, you will be able to :

  • Describe and chose methods to characterize the distribution of molecular weights,
  • Describe the three-dimensional shape of polymers; link the average size to the molecular weight,
  • Use light scattering to measure the average molecular weight, the radius of gyration as well as monomer-monomer and monomer-solvent interactions.
