2025-2026 programme
Further Summer/Winter Schools will be scheduled throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.
This thematic school introduces undergraduate students to urban sustainability using the metabolic approach, whereby cities are considered as systems of resource flows, consumption and waste. Students will explore how environmental transitions necessitate systemic territorial changes and novel approaches to organising urban spaces.
Key issues addressed by the programme include the transition from linear to circular urban metabolism, sustainable food systems, controlling urban sprawl, land management and preserving biodiversity through urban renaturation projects. By combining theoretical and practical perspectives, the course demonstrates the importance of integrated solutions in building more sustainable and resilient cities.
The Blended Intensive program aims to:
-enable students to discover the theory and history of crime fiction in France, Portugal, Italy and Spain through presentations by specialists from each of the countries concerned;
-develop critical thinking about the writing mechanisms specific to the crime genre;
-develop creative activity by appropriating the generic codes of the crime novel (criminal counter-investigation workshop, writing workshops with writers).
This BIP offers an immersive introduction to Indigenous writings of Canada, combining literary analysis, artistic practice and cultural exploration. Through the lens of the violence inflicted on Indigenous peoples by French and British colonial societies, the programme invites participants to reflect on key contemporary issues such as the acceptance of difference and resistance to dominant historical and cultural narratives.

This Blended Intensive Programme brings together students in computer science and education sciences to collaboratively design innovative solutions for the classroom of the future. The programme combines virtual preparation with an intensive on-site mobility week structured around a collaborative hackathon. By integrating educational theory and technical development, students will gain experience in co-design, critical thinking and inclusive innovation, while contributing to more accessible and pedagogically grounded digital learning environments.
This Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is designed to raise awareness of inclusion in primary and secondary education, provide immersion in the French education system, and explore other educational systems, notably European and Quebecois models. At the same time, participants will be trained in intercomprehension as a means of communication, enabling them to understand and communicate effectively across multiple Romance languages. This approach fosters linguistic diversity and enhances participants’ ability to navigate plurilingual educational environments.
This Blended Intensive Programme examines how physical activity and sedentary behaviour change across the lifespan and how these transitions impact health and quality of life. Students will explore key life stages during which physical activity tends to decline and learn how concepts such as physical literacy and resilience support active lifestyles.
This Blended Intensive Programme introduces students to art thinking and design thinking as complementary approaches to creativity, problem-solving and innovation. The programme is structured in two phases. The first focuses on art thinking, encouraging experimentation, sensory exploration and critical reflection through hands-on workshops led by an artist. The second phase introduces design thinking in collaboration with an international company, guiding students through user-centred research, ideation and prototyping to develop concrete solutions.
