Objectifs

LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the lecture part, you will have:
- acquired an overview of the fundamentals of human resources management (strategies,
actors, processes and tools)
- understood the main HRM processes across the employee lifecycle
- understood the fundamental principles of HRM from an international perspective
At the end of the oral presentation part, you will have:
- analysed and compared HR practices across countries
- developed reference points for working in an international environment
- actively participated in the learning process through teamwork and peer assessment

ORAL PRESENTATIONS
g Groups of 4–5 students (about 10–12 groups)
- Session 1: Presentation of the project and methodology. Each group chooses an HR issue
(linked to a lecture theme) and two countries to compare. Formation of groups, distribution
of presentation dates, explanation of the assessment criteria.
- Sessions 2–5: Group presentations (about 3 groups per session: 15 minutes of presentation
+ 10 minutes of questions). The other students act as the jury alongside the professor and
must ask questions. Each session ends with a short debrief linking the presentations back to the lecture concepts.
Examples of presentation themes: pay and compensation policies, national labour law comparison,
recruitment practices, international mobility and expatriation, motivating different generations at work, cultural differences in management…
