Description

Based on results of research projects on thermoset matrices and / or composites. 

› Course Description: 

  • Prototype mold for curing rubber ring in epoxy high Tg with enhanced thermal conductivity, 
  • Lightening protection for aeronautic applications with nano silver wire, 
  • Formulation of epoxy amine for enhancement of impact resistance of helmet defense aircraft, 
  • Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR): a versatile transparent thermoset, 
  • High temperature thermoset for aeronautic application based on triazine cycle, 
  • Reversible thermoset based on Diels Alder chemistry.

Objectifs

At the end of this course, you will be able to : 

  • Identify the right thermoset for a targeted industrial application, 
  • Validate an optimised curing processes in one or two stages, 
  • Make a specific formulation with selected additives to enhance one or two physical properties (mechanical, electrical conductivity, impact, ….).
