Students will discover polymer based composite materials. 

The objective of these courses and tutorials is to give them all the knowledge to identify these materials and make choices to meet a specific application (environment, mechanical and thermal stresses, industrial sector, manufacturing processes, production rates). 

The 9 hours of lecture are organized into 4.5 hours of lessons illustrated by examples of composites constituents, parts, processes, ... and 4.5 hours of tutorials focused on applications.

At the end of this course, you will be able to: 

- Identify a composite material, its constituents, its charges 

- Identify the process by which it was implemented (manufacture) 

- Understand the choices that guided the designers of a composite part 

- Make your own choices of composite materials 

- Decide on a manufacturing process

Lead a project (design, steering, team coordination, implementation and management, evaluation, dissemination) which may involve multidisciplinary skills in a collaborative framework. 


Analyse one’s actions in a Professional situation, to evaluate oneself in order to improve one’s practice in the framework of a quality approach.
