Description
This course aims at presenting the role of organizations in fostering a sustainable development, and in practice, a circular economy.
To understand the challenges and stakes of a sustainable development and organizations’ societal responsibility, we briefly review elements of our economic history that explain how we came to adopt a linear economic model of development in our societies, and why and how we are now conducting this transition towards a sustainable development.
Then, we discuss the possible motives and challenges that organizations face when considering engaging in sustainable activities.
We study how to implement a CSR strategy in practice and how to monitor it.
Finally, throughout the course, we work on numerous case studies (written or orally through your presentations) to apply all this knowledge.
