Description

Based on results of research projects on thermoset matrices and/or composites. 

Course Description: 

Prototype mold for curing rubber ring in epoxy high Tg with enhanced thermal conductivity. 

Lightening protection for aeronautic applications with nano silver wire 

Formulation of epoxy amine for enhancement of impact resistance of helmet defense aircraft  

Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR): a versatile transparent thermoset 

High temperature thermoset for aeronautic application based on triazine cycle 

Reversible thermoset based on Diels Alder chemistry.

Objectifs

At the end of this course, you will be able to: 

- Identify the right thermoset for a targeted industrial application. 

- Validate an optimised curing processes in one or two stages. 

- Make a specific formulation with selected additives to enhance one or two physical properties (mechanical, electrical conductivity, impact, ….)
